We do not provide financial, career, employment, or professional advice. Any decisions you make based on the knowledge gained through our courses are made at your own risk and discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, Office Skills Academy AS, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Costs of substitute services or products
• Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Services
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the website
• Any errors, bugs, or inaccuracies in content or materials

In no event shall our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to your use of the Services exceed the amount you have actually paid to Office Skills Academy in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not made any payment to us, our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed 1,000 Norwegian Kroner (NOK 1,000).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Norwegian law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Office Skills Academy AS, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use or misuse of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any content you submit or transmit through the website, including information provided in contact forms or enrollment requests. This indemnification obligation shall survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, or your use of the website and Services, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway. The agreed legal venue for any court proceedings shall be Asker og Bærum District Court (Asker og Bærum tingrett), unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides for a different venue. This choice of jurisdiction does not prevent you from exercising any consumer rights granted to you under mandatory Norwegian consumer protection laws or the laws of your country of residence within the European Economic Area.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If informal negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days from the date of your initial contact, either party may pursue formal resolution through the Norwegian court system as specified in Section 10 above.

For consumers residing in the European Economic Area, you may also submit a complaint through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Norwegian consumers may also contact Forbrukertilsynet (the Norwegian Consumer Authority) or Forbrukerklageutvalget (the Consumer Disputes Commission) for assistance.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website and Services, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of any provision of these Terms
• Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, our business, or third parties
• Non-payment of applicable course fees, if any
• Requests from law enforcement or government agencies
• Extended periods of inactivity on your account

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to remain in effect, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations.

13. Changes to Terms

Office Skills Academy reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, provide a notice on the homepage of our website at least 14 days before the updated Terms take effect.

Your continued use of the website and Services after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the website and Services before the updated Terms take effect.

14. Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any course-specific terms communicated during enrollment, constitute the entire agreement between you and Office Skills Academy AS regarding your use of the website and Services. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and communications, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
